Nicola Sherman (Nicki) earned her Master of Arts from Bowling Green State University. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision status and a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor-Counselor Supervisor. Nicki has provided individual, marriage, and addiction counseling in Ottawa County for 23 years. She enjoys influencing the next generation of counselors by supervising masters level interns, conducting foster/adoptive parent training, and running an addiction DIP program.
Christine Hall (Chrissy) graduated from the University of Toledo with a bachelor’s degree in Communication; and then went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Community Counseling at Spring Arbor University in Michigan. She is currently a Licensed Professional Counselor with the State of Ohio and is certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors. Chrissy is also an Ohio Certified Abstinence Educator and a licensed substitute teacher. In addition to private practice, she works part-time as a Mental Health Specialist at a local elementary school and as a substitute teacher for K-12th grade.
Chrissy works well with children/adolescents and parents, providing positive parenting solutions for everyday issues. She also enjoys helping women work through issues involving, anxiety, depression and self-esteem. She uses an eclectic and creative combination of interventions that include, but are not limited to mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy and play/art therapy.
Chrissy currently lives in Oak Harbor and is married with two children, six cats and two dogs. She enjoys kayaking, spending time with her family and friends, practicing yoga and loves the outdoors.
