Nicola Sherman
MA, LPCC-S, LICDC-CS

Nicola Sherman (Nicki) earned her Master of Arts from Bowling Green State University. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision status and a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor-Counselor Supervisor. She has been serving Ottawa County residents for 25 years including 16 years as owner and director of Co-Pilot Counseling, LLC. Nicki's focus is counseling teenagers, adults, and couples helping them to improve symptoms of anxiety, depression, and addiction.  

 

Nicki values her opportunity to influence the next generation of counselors.  Masters level students from a variety of area colleges gain valuable experience at Co-Pilot Counseling by putting their classroom knowledge to work in a clinical setting.  During this year long workplace internship, which fulfills State of Ohio licensure requirements, Nicki closely observes each intern ensuring that they utilize appropriate clinical skills while clients receive cutting edge treatment.

Nicki lives with her husband in Oak Harbor where they have raised their three adult children.  She enjoys cross stitching, scrapbooking, kayaking, and being on the lake.

Christine Zimmerman-Hall

MAC, LPC

Christine Hall (Chrissy) graduated from the University of Toledo with a bachelor’s degree in Communication; and then went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Community Counseling at Spring Arbor University in Michigan. She is currently a Licensed Professional Counselor with the State of Ohio and is certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors. Chrissy is also an Ohio Certified Abstinence Educator and a licensed substitute teacher. In addition to private practice, she works part-time as a Mental Health Specialist at a local elementary school and as a substitute teacher for K-12th grade.

 

Chrissy works primarily with children/adolescents and parents, providing positive parenting solutions for everyday issues. She also enjoys helping women work through issues involving, anxiety, depression and self-esteem. She uses an eclectic and creative combination of interventions that include, but are not limited to mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy and play/art therapy.

Chrissy currently lives in Oak Harbor and is married with two children, six cats and two dogs. She enjoys kayaking, spending time with her family and friends, practicing yoga and loves the outdoors.
